Our Real Estate Law Practice Group represents individuals, families and business entities in connection with all types of real estate matters, including residential and commercial purchases and sales, land development, easements, boundary disputes, mechanic’s lien enforcement and mortgage foreclosures.

We handle anything from basic sale transactions to more complex matters involving limited liability entities and land development. Related areas of practice include Community Association Law and Landlord Law.

We have represented our clients in the successful acquisition, financing, development, and sale of all types of unimproved land and improved properties for residential and commercial use. Knowing each transaction is unique, our attorneys focus on finding creative and innovative responses to any unusual requirements or opportunities our clients face.

Our attorneys are asked to advise on all phases of a transaction, including structuring and negotiating the deal, performing or coordinating due diligence reviews, generating documentation, and overseeing the closing. Beyond this, we typically continue to provide services to our clients after closing, on matters such as construction, development, management, leasing, refinancing, and sale.

Many real estate developers and builders are longstanding clients of our firm. We structure, document, and implement creative financing arrangements for developers, using a variety of vehicles such as limited liability companies, joint ventures, partnerships, ground leases, sale/leasebacks and participating loans.

Additionally, the lawyers of McClelland, Jones, Lyons, Lacey & Williams, LLC have represented banking institutions to facilitate the financing of real estate purchases and construction loans. Our firm also acts as the agent for title insurance to perform closings of real estate.
